Hello everyone
YES FOLKS! IT’S THIS WEEK! THE TAPAS PLAY IS THIS WEEK!
This week sees the culmination of a tremendous amount of hard work by the theatre group to bring you yet another top quality TAPAS production.
“Ten Times Table”, directed by Lee Lingwood, our very own Theatre maestro, is the Alan Ayckbourn comedy play.
Here is the outline of the story....
"The leading lights of the village have decided to hold a pageant of local history, based on a somewhat vague event.
On the Committee is a left-wing schoolteacher who decides to turn the project into a rally for a proletarian revolution.
Committee meetings become symbolic battlefields for conflicting views and the event itself turns into a violent confrontation between the two extremes, with cataclysmic results!
Anybody who has ever served on a committee will recognize many of the characters, in what is an extremely funny and farcical romp! Rumour has it that a Committee member meets a sticky end! Find out who! "
The cast, the backstage group , the technical crew, the wardrobe and props ladies, the publicity team, and the front of house Meeters & Greeters have all made a super effort to ensure you have a great night out at the theatre.
